A welcome sight...

Could it be?...the first signs of spring already peeking through?
How did I not notice this sooner?
I love the freshness and the vividness that spring brings after a gray winter...
It's like natures little gift of thanks for hanging in there and braving the cold temperatures...

I always get giddy when I see this each spring...it's like a little preview of what's yet to come!
**Do you have anything popping up?
**Are you ready for spring to be here?

  2. you are such a dork sometimes. Then I remember that I am related to you and that makes me a dork too, by default.

I enjoy winter - no, I LOVE winter. but I also love the spring flowers. Hopefully after we get a house, I can give gardening a try. (or as I like to call it, giving my black thumb a work out.)

ps, have you ever seen the show "worst week"? It is pretty funny. Kind of an arrested development type of show.

  3. Wow, that seems early for things to be popping up, our stuff is still pretty much buried in snow. I am starting to feel ready for spring and have felt rather annoyed with winter this year.

  4. I am so jealous. Spring won't hit here for a few more months. Although I am sure I have some sprouts at our home in Quakertown that has still not sold.. ARGGH!

  5. i also love the first signs of the upcoming season- i'm always amazed that robins seem to come back too early- they stand around in the snow and wonder where the worms are-- seems like they jump the gun every year- maybe they're just as anxious as we are!
