Dreaming of the day...

Don't get me wrong--I love snow! Especially the excitement that builds before it actually starts!

It's always something that seems to bring people together...

And when it finally happens, the beauty of it never ceases to amaze me...

But I can't help but think about the day when a scene like this...

will look something more like this!...

or instead of this...

there will be this!...

the walkway through the snow drifts...

will be a walk through roses and herbs...
But until that day, I will take advantage of the quiet peacefulness of this snowy night...
(We got at least a foot!)
and curl up to a good book...
I can't wait to go out tomorrow morning and see all of the animal tracks in the snow...

  4. I love the snowed in cozy feeling that comes when we get a big snow, but it doesn't seem to happen as often as I think it should.

I'm starting to get a hankering for spring and flowers and all that outdoor goodness that comes when the seasons change!

  6. Your yard is beautiful! I love the way snow looks when it is piled high on top of things. And it is sooooo quiet after it snows. I don't mind the snow. And I love the spring. It's when it is cold but no snow that I don't like as much.

  9. My yard will never look like yours, but I am anticipating some warmer weather. We did, however, enjoy being "forced" to hunker down at home yesterday. We played and ate and slept - what more could I ask for?
Thanks for your nice comment on my last post.
